Learn to do the basic moves of Afro-Brazilian Dance, Capoeira with this video tutorial.
Part 1
1. Move your right leg diagonally behind your left while swinging your arms in a punching motion starting with your left arm.
2. Move your left leg diagonally behind your right while swinging your arms in a punching motion starting with your right arm.
3. Now add one slide step to your right before step 1
4. Now add one slide step to your left before stop 2
5. Add twirl before step 2 but before step 1
6. Add twirl before step 3 but before step 4
7. Moving right to left jump with one leg forward and one leg back
8. Stand with your legs apart then turn around bending your torso so your head is level with your hips
9. Bend your right leg 90 degrees and fall back squatting with right knee bent, left leg strait forward supporting yourself with your hands behind you
10. Hop back up and repeat step 9 bending left leg instead
11. step back with your right leg turning 90 degrees, then while turning to 180 degrees spin down low to the ground and return to 360 degrees
12. Hold you hands up about head level with your fingers spread, palms out, then sway left to right
13. Turn to your right the do a cartwheel to you left
14. Bend your left knee and kneel forward then fall back onto your hands with left knee still bent and right leg strait forward
Part 2
1. Kick your right leg forward making a circular motion
2. Repeat step 1 with your left leg
3. Complete step 1 but turn 360 degrees while doing so
4. Complete step 2 but turn 360 degrees while doing so
5. Complete step 1 but jump 360 degrees while doing so
6. Complete step 2 but jump 360 degrees while doing so
7. Complete step 1 but turn 360 degrees with your hand on the floor behind you
8. Complete step 2 but turn 360 degrees with your hand on the floor behind you
9. Complete steps 5 & 6 at the same time (One leg before the other in a smooth motion)
10. Do a cartwheel left to right then right to left
